It is said that its appeal lies in a characteristic that makes it unique in the world: that of running on a course that changes every year, while always remaining the same.

The Dogi's Half Marathon is the spring half marathon: it has been run for almost a quarter of a century over the classic distance of 21.097 kilometres. And every year - usually on the first Sunday in April - it involves thousands of athletes from all over Italy and abroad.

Its course is shaped like an ellipse that runs along the two banks of the Naviglio Brenta. In front of the eyes of the many runners, for whom the Dogi's Half Marathon is an unmissable event, no less than 19 villas, representing the treasure of the land of the Doges, run along the way.

'Running between nature and history', reads one of the slogans of the Dogi's Half Marathon. All true. And then, going from beauty to beauty, there is that particularity of the route that makes it unique and inimitable: Mira, Dolo, Fiesso d'Artico and Stra. And its evocative route, at each edition, rotates start and finish between the four towns, offering athletes the sensation of running on a route that is always new.
